JCQ regulations state that it is the responsibility of the head of centre to ensure that his/her centre enables the relevant senior leader(s), the examinations officer and the SENCo (or an equivalent member of staff such as ALNCo) to receive appropriate training and support in order to facilitate the effective delivery of examinations and assessments within the centre, and ensure compliance with the published JCQ regulations (General Regulations for Approved Centres, section 5.3)
